Reflection

 

Throughout this whole capstone I have learned a lot. When I began this project I thought that it was going to be hard and a lot of work and I really didn’t want to go all out. Then I got a idea that I should run a football camp to I approached her and she thought it was a good Idea. So now that I have an idea I had to run around and find a mentor and what better person to go to then coach Martin and I approached him and he agreed. So I though yeah I’m going to be okay I got this all I have to do run a camp how bad is that. Then she told me I have to rent the field, get the stuff. So this project was more then I though. So this project really tough me how to use recourses that have available. I also have been talking and listening to a middle school kid. I wanted to try and mentor him because I think I’m good role model .So I grabbed him out of class three times a week. I only grabbed him out of a class that he has a little free time in. It was kind of difficult to show Mrs.B how he has improving to I though hey if I teach this kid manors he would become a better people person. So while trying to run a camp I was asked  if I can help them with their projects and me being a good friend/Classmate I said yes to I had a lot on my plate and had to organize my time wisely because there was no time to joke around and have fun because this was my future that I could either improve or I and just through it away. So I stepped up then I had other things to do with the middle school class I helped supervise a professional students award program where a group of Indians came in to our a school and for the kids who where behaving they put on a show so I sat down and helped them stay in task and enjoy their reward.This project shows a lot about a person I think to because you have some students that really sat there and really tried to put there project together then you have those kids that just through whatever they can together and waited last min. Also this project shows us responsibilities and how to finish something no matter what the circumstances are because even if you know it or not there will always be someone is picking up the vibe that is coming off you or even better they are looking up at you. Another thing that this project has show me is its okay to be nice but when it’s time for you to take care of what you have to do ,you really have to take care of your stuff . So you have to prioritize and take care of what you have to do. So if you kept on top of your game this whole year and hit every do date this project should be a breeze due date are critical so at the end of the project you don’t have to look like a chicken with his head cut off. This capstone project also tough me how to take responsibilities on what happen or what didn’t happen, because you don’t have anyone to through it on.  This project has tought me that if your going to start something you have to finish it no matter how good or bad it goes. So I think that this project was a really good idea for our seniors to do for a graduation requirement helped me and some of my classmates get a taste of what real life is going to be.
